Unity is a non-denominational, God-centered church, founded near the end of the 19th century by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore in Kansas City, Missouri. It is the largest of several New Thought churches founded about that time. Here at Unity of Greater Cleveland we lead God-centered lives, awakening to the Christ nature within ourselves and recognizing this same nature in all others.

Prayer and Pastoral Support Christenings - A loving ceremony is held quarterly at the Sunday service at UGC to formally recognize the child's Christ nature and the parents' and godparents' commitment to nurturing it.
Weddings- We offer many options for making your wedding a beautiful experience. Our sanctuary is an ideal place for the ceremony large or small, or our ministers are available to perform weddings.
Spiritual Baptism - A sacred ceremony affirming the divine in each one of us, for all ages.
Memorials/Funerals - When a loved one makes his or her transition, family and friends may turn here for comfort, guidance and to perform this special service in a most sacred and meaningful way.
Prayer Treatments - Our trained Practitioners are available to give brief affirmative prayer treatments on Sunday after each service or by phone during the week.
Visitation (Home or Hospital) - We are committed to caring for the spiritual life of individuals who are homebound or are in hospitals, nursing homes or hospices. Through personal contact, our Practitioners comfort, support and assist the individual.
Spiritual Counseling - Experienced counselors are available by appointment. Please call the church office for information.
